Situated back off the main road in a very private setting on 25 acres is a circa 1854 log cabin and the original barn with center stone fireplace. The fireplace is open on both sides serving the out kitchen and slave quarters.
A fire in 2003 damaged the roof of the 1850 section and gutted the older section. The 1850 section with original logs has been saved with a full loft and new roof. The downstairs is one big room with the log walls exposed.
